The de Valk machine factory is a dynamic organisation established in Valkenswaard, close to Eindhoven, the Netherlands. We are specialised in the production of mechanical components in all common steel types, non-ferrous metals and plastics, as well as the full production and assembly of modules and machines. Furthermore, the de Valk machine factory has the capacity and the expertise to offer a broad range of additional services such as hardening, anodising, nickel plating, sheet metal work and engineering.

CTd by Edd is een kleine dienstverlenende onderneming die zich bezig houdt met 3D-scannen, ontwerpen en 3D-printen.
Daarnaast worden introductie-workshops georganiseerd t.b.v. 3D tekenen en printen. CTd by Edd is momenteel bezig met het ontwikkelen en bouwen van een groot formaat 3D printer met een printvolume van 50 x 50 x 100cm en wisselbare koppen t.b.v. verschillende materialen (plastic, klei, pasta...).

Van Herk Mechatronica is een werktuigbouwkundig engineeringsbureau. We bedenken, ontwerpen en realiseren oplossingen op het gebied van productieautomatisering, machinebouw en special tooling. We kunnen een voorbeeld laten scannen, de 3d print voor u verzorgen, bewerken en zo nodig integreren in een groter model. Prototype, eyecatcher of kunstwerk.

Implementing 3D-printing
Adding a 3D-print solution allow disentanglement from the supplier(s). In some cases, it's better to print parts in house than to have a supplier deliver the goods. The benefits (depending on the ecosystem) vary from faster available, cheaper or even better suited for that use. A pilot 3D-print solution is easy to do - fully in line with the MakerCulture. But - keep in mind; 3D-printing is NOT the magic solution, so don't give up on the current suppliers, you'll still need them.
